Paul Hubbard

As a PADI Diving Instructor, Paul is also able to teach Photographic courses as well as offering his wealth of experience whilst videoing your diving trip. He is an active Crew Member of the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue organisation and is currently completing his Emergency Medical Technicians course.

Paul was born in the town of Loughborough in the heart of the Midlands of England and has been living and working in the British Virgin Islands as a professional Videographer and Photographer since February 2003. Prior to moving to the Caribbean, Paul had a 16 year career in the British Army, serving in the Royal Engineers and leaving at the rank of Sergeant. It was during his time in the military that Paul developed his passion for photography, having photographs published in several journals, magazines and also the Corps of Royal Engineers calendar!

Paul learnt to dive in the cold waters of Strangford Lough, Northern Ireland and since then has dived all over the world, both as part of military expeditions and also recreationally. Paul was part of an adventurous tri-service expedition (Exercise Sabah Finn) that went to remote areas of Sabah, Malaysia and hunted for lost and previously unrecorded WWII Japanese warships, specifically fulfilling the role as Photographer and Videographer for the expedition. He has also dived throughout the United Kingdom, Cyprus, The Red Sea, Barbados, and the Great Barrier Reef.
When not working he can often be found propping the bar up at one of Tortolas famous watering holes!!
